Seems silly that this has not been announced already. To those running SXM make it quick and drop the test requirement and insurance requirement.
You will see your riches overflow. Demand is waiting for you to act NOW!

Island time. Does seem ridiculous they haven’t even announced a start date yet. Sxm gov def has its own odd ways and reasons.

My bet is the insurance requirement is here to stay, just like the airport departure fee/tax.

IMHO, the insurance coverage is a good thing. It was something that when we went for our test to return home, the what if??? And what if we had to to stay for ten more days???At least the insurance would cover said expenses. It was a big exhale moment waiting along with all the other people at the pharmacy in Marigot!!
Sand Gravity, got to love it!

I have no quarrel with the insurance requirement....I do have a quarrel with mandating that you get THEIR insurance which is just lame . I had to buy decent coverage on my own in addition to their crap coverage....

Except, nobody has yet reported on using the insurance so it is a TOTAL unknown as to how good it is, ease of use, etc. It may look good on paper but with like any other insurance, one never knows how good it really is until they have to actually use it. Until I see first-hand reports from someone who has actually used this insurance, I have little faith in it and the evacuation coverage is not at all what one would need.
