Wow! Some people just shouldn't be let out of their cages. Maybe now they will have nice cages in St. Maarten to spend time in. I somehow doubt they will be allowed to leave the country until the cases have been dealt with by the court.

Not really surprised. We were there about a month ago briefly for karaoke and quite a few totally drunk people hanging around falling all over everyone. I know they make money selling alcohol but it’s Sad they allow that to go on. IMO

Ideally, they would never be allowed to return to the island after this incident. Does Sint Maarten have a persona non grata list, as some other islands do?

With regard to a persona non grata list, as I recall, the fellow who made bomb threats to PJIA and was arrested for same has been allowed back on island since then, so if SXM has such a thing, it's not very effective..

On behalf of my wife and me, I would like to offer a formal apology for our behavior at Topper’s the other night. We understand our actions may have caused embarrassment to our family, friends, and fellow TTOL members. We promise in the future we will do our best to limit that type of behavior to visits to Mexico.

Maybe they were disappointed with their meals. After all, many of us feel the food here is overrated, including you Scubaman. But, for the life of me how do you get this drunk? Even when they have two-for one's at the Perch Bar & Grill I might get a little buzzed but I don't run behind the bar in my underwear breaking glasses. Of course, I'm not wearing any underwear at the Perch! Hope there's a follow-up article to this calamity!

The videos are basically two really drunk and half naked people squirming on the ground and then resisting getting in the car. Not pretty. Neither the situation nor the people.
Oh and one where the girl has just kicked the poor guy in his nether regions and then gets out and runs through traffic to the other side of the street.

The couple really messed up but in my hometown when a customer is that intoxicated it is a law that the bartender stop serving more alcohol or else the bartender and business are liable if the drunk customer drives and kills someone.

Thanks for these videos. What a couple of belligerent idiots. Makes you wonder how they ever got through customs and immigration at the airport. Whatever sentences they get will be very much deserved, but I hope fines will also be applied or the damages they caused.

That video says it all. Low class tourists traveling to St. Maarten. Time to move to St. Barts. Years ago traveling was expensive and tourists like this could not afford to travel on the cheap.

what an embarrassment to tourists (especially U.S.) all over the world. What a joke to imply that the police used excessive force, to the contrary I thought they showed a lot of reserve. Hopefully these 2 chuckleheads will be banned from the country for a long time.
