Trying to find out if this group still exists. Met them on Cupecoy about 10 years ago. My wife and I joined in and we all got into a circle, said a few words, and drank shots of Lemoncello.

They still exist, but typically earlier in the year.

Pre-Lemon Drop season is in November, and the usual Lemon Drop ceremonies are in Jan/February.

According to their leadership there were a total of 1900 droppers during the 2019-2020 season and 1200 this past season.

Yes we do! First segment is around mid November through just before T-Day, then it starts later during the first week in Jan through mid February. I've been doing it for around 25 years give or take. There is a Lemondrop group on Facebook. Diane Dehler is still there among hundreds of others.
