We will be going to Aruba in October for the first time. We are using our timeshare and staying at La Cabana. Would love suggestions for restaurants, things to see and do, rental car agencies, things to stay away from etc. Many thanks in advance

Do go to the Alhambra Casino next door, and Charlie's Bar in San Nicholas.

Check with your hotel activities desk and book a tour of the desert. I have a few photos i can send you if you provide an e-mail address over the PM system.

Visit Alhambra Casino even if you don't participate you will find shops & restaurants in the complex and behind the casino in several hotels along the beach.

Visit town and shop & dine. We enjoy Driftwood & El Gaucho restaurants both in town and easy to get to by auto or by bus.

Driftwood offers a special dinner menu three courses for $25.95 - ask to see the special menu.

Many more dining choices ....
