Has anyone stayed or know someone who has stayed at Secrets in St. Martin. I am looking out for a friends daughter honeymoon.

We walked through it today. Was not impressed. Only thing going for it is the pools and that was no better than any other resort. I talked to a couple staying there who had stayed at other secrets and were very disappointed. Lots of work still needs to be done. Landscaping was dismal. No pads on beach chairs and no beach service. You had to walk to a bar from the beach to get a drink and not all restaurants are open yet. My wife pretty much described it when she said it's hard to turn a pigs ear into a silk purse.
