Just got home two hours ago, long trip but all was good other than having to wake up so early to board at 4:50am in Miami. With the early departure we just did the MIA Hotel again at concourse D, it is a dive at an almost hilarious level, hard to believe they can't put a bit more money into the place.

AA all in all was good, decent service in First but getting tired of the food options which are very similar to what Alaska Air is doing which ranks for both as pathetic. Crews were actually present, and a really good crew DFW to PDX. Our routing this trip was SXM to MIA, overnight and then MIA to DFW and DFW to PDX.

We like many did the testing right there by Avantika, all went smooth, looking forward to not having to do that at some point in time. But then again who doesn't love having a cotton swab stuck up your nose to itch your brain.

It was nice to get away for the 13 nights on island, great to see some of our island friends and spread some green back cheer. We worked more than normal this trip but that was OK, even if we don't go out during the day we have the evenings and they are fantastic. If you can go I highly suggest you go, enjoy the less crowded areas while the cruise ships are not dumping the thousands of people on island. Traffic is less, restaurants have space, and again you feel very appreciated being there.

203 days until our return!
Cheers,
Todd

Were they serving drinks in FC or just beer and wine? I notice you can't preorder food selection like in the past.

I wish we had run into you---I feel like we know each other from
all the posts.

We all had great weather, until the rain at the very end.
They needed the rain.

Now we have to wait till November.

Alaska is Beer and Wine, AA has cocktails. Both basically have a turkey sandwich or a cheese plate as your choices. This in the front of the jets.
