My return flight was to be SXM to Newark, Newark to O'Hare (next day), O'Hare to Cincinnati (CVG). United subsequently changed it to (unbelievable) SXM to Newark, no connection to LaGuardia, LaGuardia (next day) to O'Hare, O'Hare to Cincinnati. I told United that this was unacceptable. So they then put me back onto Newark to O'Hare and charged me about $195 for the change to what I had already had !!! I will write the company after this trip is over !!! What gives ???

OK, wait, why are they charging you when you didn't agree to the change to begin with? Call back and speak to a supervisor.

And United advertises "no change fees, ever".
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Maybe a fare increase and not a change fee...but if they changed the flight that also should be a no charge

They reverted back to his original flights. Should not be any charge even if fares are up. Time to call and ask for a supervisor.
