Several years ago, my cousin was in a bartender competition at La Semanna. It was great to see him compete. The bartenders were given a time frame to create a cocktail with specific ingredients. This competition was mixology not flair (where they toss bottles, glasses and ice). It was certainly fun to watch my cousin compete. He made it a couple rounds.

Very Interesting, any chance someone can post the list of contestants, for those of us that don't have Facebook or "the gram" (I thinks what the kids are calling it these days?).
I recall Paul Peterson aka "The Bearded Bartender" from the old Temptation, and now at Bamboo (last I knew anyway), won a few bartending competitions a few years back.
suddenly very thirsty for a rum punch!
