Can anyone confirm that UK Citizens are not allowed in the BVI at all?

Hi Monk
UK Citizens are not currently allowed to go ANYWHERE outside of the UK on vacation. The only reason we can leave are compassionate grounds or business. That is due to change 17th May all being well.

The BVI allows UK citizens who have residence or work permits in, but not tourists.

Strange to restrict anyone from the UK. They currently have one of the lowest overall covid rates and a high vaccination rate.

So could they go stay somewhere else for a couple days then come into BVI under new "Q" rules since they wouldn't be coming directly from UK?
