We've had four trips to STJ after four trips to Sandcastle on JVD. We done a lot on the island, but know we missed plenty as well. What are your Top 3 favorite things to do on STJ?
We won't be down until August 1, but it's never too early to start planning. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

And Beerman I know having cold Presidente is on your list. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Cheers.gif" alt="" />

After 18 BVI trips, we are staying on St. John for 3 nights. We will be staying in a villa after our bareboat charter in Tortola. Looking forward to reading this thread.

Happy Hour at Spyglass/Joe's Rum Hut/Beach Bar

Dinner at ZoZo's bar (haven't been to new location yet)

Pick up Sam and Jack's sandwiches and picnic at Maho.

Spend a day at villa starting with Bloody Mary's for breakfast and ending with grilling fish/steak for dinner. In between is whatever you feel like with Pandora playing all day long.

Morning or Afternoon at Denis Bay.

Zozo's new location is spectacular. The bar is huge. I don't know that eating at the bar would be as good as before (because of the layout) as now the bar and regular dining seats have the same view.

Definitely rent a vehicle and start by driving out the North Shore, lots of pull offs with great views.

We love drinking, eating and strolling around Cruz Bay in the evenings. Live music is easy to find.

If you like ruins, hit Annaberg and Catherineburg. (go to Annaburg if you only have time for one)

There are lots of turtles to be found at Maho.

I am not an Uncle Joe's fan, I think Candi's has a far better product for take-out.

I don't know which restaurant it is but last week the bbq smoke smell coming from the Lumberyard Complex (along the road) was so good, I am surprised it didn't stop traffic.

I haven't done it but the Ram's Head hike is reported to be fantastic (as well as crazy hot).

more than one evening we've had Ribathalons, kinda like rumathalons but drunker.
I'm a candy fan. she's got it goin. Unc Joes may have sold. havent seen him there in long time. still good, but agree that candy's wins.
had sushi at zo's. was better than good. had large servings, little to 'puffy' for me re the peeps. ymmv.
stopped halfway to ramhead, knee issues.

All great. We've done some and now the list of possibilities grows and more questions to follow I'm sure.

One more came to mind.

Reef Bay hike led by a Park Ranger. Fun and educational. You see the petroglyphs and catch a ride back to Cruz Bay on Sadie Sea along the South Shore.

My last post was useless, but I like photos! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

We like renting a center console dinghy from Caypso, its fun to go all the way to Leinster and stop anywhere in between.

We like to grill at the villa, Fishtrap has a great fresh seafood store next to the restaurant. I stop in early and tell them i want a very large mahi filet and I pick it up in the afternoon. They have very good imported seafood also ie salmon, shrimp etc

If there's a clear full moon we like the walk to Ram Head, no flashlight required! Then dinner at Shipwreck Landing.

If we had only one beach to choose, its Maho!

ReelG8r, Donkey Diner is no more. Looks like some folks that know this restaurant business are taking over the space,
