Testing, results and approval from SXM—-piece of cake! Everything went very well checking in this morning—A little bump at security, but it may not have happened if we weren’t flying through the lines and forgot to take our tablets out of the carryon.
The plane was practically empty. Most everyone was seated up front and very few in coach. We breezed through security, got our bags and were out the door to find Lesley waiting!!!
We ran to Mullet for a little while. The waves weren’t bad, but we’re not taking any chances!!! Beautiful day. We are running out for an early dinner to Vesna Taverna, stop for a couple of groceries and home to bed.
With Pat coming in, I may leave the reporting to the pro!! Now I’m going to try for a picture of the new bathtub and beach.
wow....looks like the seaweed made its trek around the island. Two weeks ago it was only on Orient. Now seeing at BSV, and hearing some at Mullett......What a difference a week or so make!!
It amazes me how things change from just two weeks ago. Our last week at Orient, the seaweed was GROSS, clean one day, and then a mess the other, but the rest of tthe island was great. There was NONE at Maho, Simpson Bay or Mullett. Clean Clear, and wonderful. Then here i see pictures this week of the same beaches, with nothing but YUCK, in the water, and on the shore. I sure hope mother nature wakes up soon, and takes it all away. The last thing the beach people need, is another excuse to keep people away!!!
Wow Terri! What a shock that picture was..as Carol said there was practically zero seaweed while we were there. Glad to see things are headed in the right direction for you now..amazing what just a minor change in wind direction can do. There was some new furniture in Unit 1 when we were just there, but they hadn't started any tile work yet. That looks really nice! The owners and staff do a tremendous job keeping up BSV. Already making my plans for Nov/Dec. Enjoy your vacation!
