Spent the morning on the beach in front of BSV. Still a fierce wind but it seems to be all over the island so we didn’t let that stop us from hanging on the beach.

Back home we had made reservations for lunch today at Indigo beach. We decided to leave a little early and was there by noon. With only a couple days left on the island we wanted to take advantage of the sun and hanging out by the pool.
The restaurant overlooks Indigo bay. It’s a two tier outdoor dining room with thick canvas tarp over the dining space. We opted for a table on the lower tier to get a better view of the beach but you have a good view from any table.

I ordered the lobster salad and David had what he said was the best mahi mahi sandwich on the island. He loved the one he had the other day at Kontiki but said theirs was even better. My salad had medium size chunks of lobster on top of greens with a light dressing, tomatoes, onions, arugula, and corn. David’s mahi mahi was served with a side of fries a small salad similar to mine minus the lobster. We shared stuffed mussels which were with the garlic herb butter they were cooked with. Delicious and a very nice size app portion.

To finish I had a cappuccino and a small crepe stuffed with pastry cream and fruit tied up like a little purse with a vanilla ice cream on the side. The service was very good, nice ambience and we enjoyed the food. No service charge added.

We decided to stay home tonight but wanted to get a pizza from Driftwood but they were closed when we drove there. Fairly certain they were open when we returned home from lunch? David needed to pick up a battery for his watch so we went to Maho and picked up a pizza at Rialto. It was not good, very commercial if that’s the right word? Crust was soft even though it was a thin pizza. I put some hot infused oil but that couldn’t save it either.

Fireworks went on for a short time, 4th of July type we see in NY for about 5 minutes behind Simpson Bay beach resort. We had a nice view from the living room.

One more full day.

Great pictures once again!

Wish you guys were staying. We get so much info from you and it would have been nice to say hello.
Maybe a couple of days in Oct/Nov !

Did you get your test this morning??

Still worried about all the testing and paperwork to come, as you can tell.
