We headed out for dinner tonight with two very special people. Met at Nowhere Special for a quick drink, before going to Emilio's for the first time. Little did i know, and neither did our friends remember, that tonight was a special closed sold out event at Emilio's. The featured artist was THIRD WORLD, with ''Cat" Coore, a HUGE recording artist in Jamaica and to Reggae lovers. The food was FANTASTIC, the company was the best. We were treated like royalty, since our friends that we went with was Al Wathey, and Lillian, his daughter. Al's brother is the owner of Emilio's, so.................Yes, it's the same Al Wathey, that for many years and many remember from here, ran and owned Turtle Pier. Lillian owns and runs Nowhere Special. Nowhere Special has been transformed from a fine restaurant, to an enlarged bar, with music nightly. The place is hopping, and now one really needs reservations in advance to get in. Limited Tapas menu, and delicious appertizers you won't find other places. After dinner, went back to Nowhere Speical to listen to the band that was performing tonight. EXCELLENT. Between Emilio's and Nowhere Special, this may have been the highlight of our trip!!! A fun night for sure. Thank you to Al and to Lillian for making us feel so special.
Tomorrow, will be our last full day. Orient Beach is in the plans.
More to follow.
