Here on Tortola now and planning a day trip to Virgin Gorda. It seems every restaurant we've researched is closed, sadly. (Top of the Baths, Saba Rock, and others; Coco Maya is closed on the days we may be going also.) Anybody been recently and know of any restaurants that are still open? They don’t need to be fancy AT ALL, just good food and preferably on the water or with a view. Thanks!
Glad to here the Restaurant at Nail Bay is open again (Sugarcane). I had not heard about their fate after Irma. Great memories at the old version. Our favorite spot for lunch on VG. We loved the view. Unfortunately the rebuild has eliminated our favorite spot to sit at the bar and look out on the Dogs. We used to sit right where the camera man was standing to take the shot on the main page of their website. I guess we will have to visit and keep ordering drinks until we find a new favorite spot to sit.
The last time we had dinner at Sugarcane pre-Irma the bar faced the open kitchen and the pool behind that. Behind us were the rock formations some with tables. Maybe we missed another bar there??
