Looking at flights to come out to shop for condos. Spirit has, by far, the best pricing but the connection in Ft. Lauderdale is 30 minutes. Does anyone have past experience with this flight? Did you make the connection? Is it the same plane or is the connecting gate close by?

I have no experience with this route, however after personal trips as well as the experience of friends and family, I would rather walk that fly that airline. They are in a race to the bottom with LIAT.

Spirit is our last choice for flying. They are a "best effort" cost+ airline. A blown connection can result in days of waiting for an open seat. However, friends from Denver fly them all the time with no problems and like the forward seat option.
