Spent day 8 at Orient beach. Again chose the chairs on the left side, $15 for two chairs and umbrella. Little bit of weeds, not much but only mention because the first day we were there no weeds at all. Ate lunch at Kon Tiki, Dana had lobster wrap and I had a cheeseburger. Haven’t gotten use to the French side meals taking forever. Was missing our chairs, but we are on vacation. No worries.
Came back to Simpson Bay Villas to get cleaned up, checked out our testing site for return trip, caught the end of happy hour at Greenhouse and short trip to the market beside Burger King.
We had decided to eat at Isola, close and had good meals in the past. Both got chicken Parmesan. Decent and service was good but would rate Al Dente and Sale & Pepe better. We were going to go to Red Piano after but the yawning had already begun, called it a early night.
Day 9 started cloudy and rainy, but we know that doesn’t last long. Stopped for a bagel at the shop across from Greenhouse and was going to explore the island for awhile til it stopped raining, but when we got to car, Sunshine!
Headed to Mullet Bay for the day and had a good time. We haven’t been here before where it was a smooth descent to the water. Have seen pictures of it but never experienced it. Stayed on Daleo’s side of beach. They put some work into this place. Nice atmosphere friendly atmosphere. Rosies is still here but not much traffic that I saw.
Heading to Lee’s tonight for dinner. Had drinks and watched Super Bowl there and their best advertisement is cooking the food over grill as you walk in. Worked for us, smelled so good.
Will also be getting tested to return to the states. The location is right beside the entrance to the casino. Will see how that goes. Our last full day tomorrow

Isola is our go to place for traditional Italian food. Always good.

Those long lunches on the French side are the highlights of our trips! The beach chairs will always wait for you.

As we get older, somehow the long lunches get more important and broiling ourselves in the sun, less so. Amazing how that works...

Not for me. Just rather eat lunches on beach loungers and enjoy the sand and sun. At 73+ i'll take the sun.
