Friday went to Pinel. Had a nice time, nice waters and beach. Came back to house for afternoon drinks by the pool and to watch the sun set.
Saturday was stay at house and enjoy water, views and sun. Morning was rainy but relaxing. Dinner tonight was back at Sal &Pepe for lobster and chicken Parmesan. Service again was friendly and pleasant. We have had issues other years not being welcoming at this restaurant but this trip they have been wonderful. Can see the smiles through the masks. Also LOVE sitting on water looking at all the BIG boats docked there. After dinner walked to Nowhere special. They were busy with a reggae band playing. As a whole, thought island has been very quiet. The restrictions have really affected the business here. We usually come in August and it is quieter than that! Then drove to a Hole in the Wall. Loved the music
Sunday was moving day. We are early birds so up and packed by 8! After our check out at 11 went exploring a little on way to Karachters. Stopped in Marigot for croissant. Can’t remember name of place across from market but was very nice. Then drove through Sandy Ground and Bay Netties over to Cupecoy. Once settled in our chairs realized it was NOT the day to hang out here. Waves were crazy and wind was up so was covered in sand. I don’t like going into a big surf so after a couple hours we left. Checked in early to Simpson bay villas and hit the pool. Went to Greenhouse for drinks but bar was full (and half the size due to social distance) had painkillers and potato skins then decided to just have dinner there too. The old Black and Tan dog still there. She looks pretty painful but comes around each table to get her scraps. Big decision was where to watch Super Bowl! Replay bar had some things going on and talked about soggy dollar but somehow ended at Lee’s. Had a good time. Staff was into game and so were a lot of guests.

Royal Palm is in the background, so it is taken from across Simpson Bay. Probably somewhere between The Atrium and going up Billy Folly Rd in the Simpson Bay Resort area.

Sounds like a great time on island. I love Pinel.
