First off, my island fever is bad right now...so apologies for the second consecutive thread.

What are your favorite USVI multi-night bays/anchorages (excluding St. Croix)?

Maho is one of my favorites, but I haven't explored the USVIs enough to have any other favorite spots for multiple nights. I know I didn't enjoy hanging out in Crown Bay Marina for a weekend once while waiting on a delivery....that Crowley yard noise from containers banging around is something painful to listen to all night....

We'll have young ones to entertain and crew that wants at least the option of nabbing a drink or food from a beach vendor so I am considering I am considering Magens Bay or Honeymoon/Druif for our group as another multi-night....

Personally, Great Lameshur looks like a winner to me, but sadly I think the crew (kids and adults) would be bored....

Anyone want to share their favorite multi-night spots?

Get a rental car(s) and park it in Maho as your home base and your half way between the Coral Bay area and Cruz Bay. It’s a great place to spend multiple days.
Crown Bay is noisy and without a Caribbean feeling.

Brewers Bay would be a nice multiple night anchorage -- 2 food trucks, nice flat water - great beach, close to the road if you need a short provisioning run or dinner ashore via taxi.Caneel might be a good option as well, with no ferry wakes right now it is pretty nice and a dinghy ride to Cruz Bay.

We love Maho/Francis, the cluster of Salt Pond, Great Lameshure, and Little Lameshure with hiking on St. John. Coral Bay has the wonderful nearby Hurricane Hole and Hansen / Round Bay with Lime Out, Skinny Legs, Oasis, and Salty Mongoose for eating out.

Druif Bay / Honeymoon Beach is a favorite with Dinghy's Beach Bar & Restaurant and you can dinghy to Crown Bay if you need anything. LocalSailor mentioned Brewers Bay which is wonderful when things get bouncy.

Cheers, RickG
