We are planning to be is St Martin in Feb but these new requirements for returning to Canada are causing some concern. Where on the French or Dutch side is the PCR test available and does anyone know the cost?

The Dutch side was testing arrivals at the airport for around $130 from what I recall. No idea on the French side.

WOW Thank goodness I am not a Canadian but as an American it is just a matter of time till these regulations come to the U.S.A. Fauci already said Vaccines will be mandatory to travel.

I thought people going back to New York have to do this? I'm happy that they are taking steps to help keep Covid from coming in from other countries. Lots of people don't think Covid is an issue. I know some sadly.

There was an interesting link on the article posted here for El Zafiro's making that 7 best tiny hotels list in Caribbean Journal..Sonesta offering rapid tests to it's guests for $55. Wonder if it's truely limited to their guests? They mentioned the new requirement for Canadians specifically.

Our children did theirs at SLS Lab opposite the Hospital for $ 35.00 each. What hospital Leslie? Do you mean the medical center or have they completed building a hospital in Belair area?

Leslie, do you know if that lab is restricted on SXM residents only or open to anyone? Also, what was the turn around time for the result?

The article ends with 'free to all members of the community'. Sounds to me like tourists might not be included in that definition, but then again, if you had symptoms?
