Maggiesheridan315 posted a thread back on Nov. 9 regarding Lovango Beach Club. I haven't seen much info about it since, other than a reference that they are set to open (or at least were set to open) on Dec. 23. Does anyone have any updates about the status? Also, I curious whether there are anchorages around Lovango Cay?

Some moorings reported on S. side of Lovango. Anchorage possible at Mingo, Grass and Congo cays and N. Lovango some dive moorings at Carvel Rock some NPS moorings at Henley

We were there on 1/2/21. There were 3 public mooring balls and 5 reservation only mooring balls on the south side near their restaurant and docks. We also saw 3-4 boats on anchor just outside the mooring field, but I’m not entirely sure this is permitted. Lots of coral in that area...

We were there for an overnight on Jan.3. Loved it! Resort is fabulous and the staff is just simply off the chart. Dinner and drinks were terrific. While on topic, especially since I opened this thread a few weeks ago, I should note that we sailed between Lovango and Congo curios about a beach and anchorage. When we were there at least, it did not appear to be a suitable place to drop a hook.
