arrived on the 28th, there were 28 people on the plane out of Charlotte. The traffic is so light that we travel from the Simpson Bay resort to Orient Beach in 25 minutes. The beach is empty as compared to other years. Rented chairs at club O for $105 per week. Perch lite added a new container for a kitchen. Have had dinners at the Greenhouse, Toppers, Lee's, Pineapple Pete's, Isola, 3 Amigos, and Foulin Mou and all the restaurants are empty. The people seem happy that tourist are starting to come back. All the meals were good. Toppers will move to the new location early January. BBB is still closed which is sad. Went to Phillpsburg and it is scary empty. Stopped by at the House of jewels and we were the only customers. The weather has been great but alittle windy on two days. The Hollywood casino is open but very few people. Everyplace you go has thermometers and require hand washes. So far it has been a great trip.

We were on AA1044 from CLT the same day. Same flight? Arrived here to basically the same scenario. We went into town yesterday to see our jeweler and there were seven people in the store including us. Five of them were employees! Every where we go the island people are so happy to have the tourists return. ๐๐

Thanks for sharing your trip report!!! I know that these restaurants must be thrilled to see clients coming back!! I can't believe that "BBB" is still closed??? My heart brakes for the staff! Some of them have been there from day one!!! With no new jobs on the island. It's got to be so tough! Our "contributions" to the privateers has to be welcomed!!
