Does anyone know what the current state of shopping is in Hope Estates. We need to make a Grocery run and also want to pick up a few SXM hats, t-shirts, pareos, etc. Since we don't have a car and need to get a driver we are hoping to do it in one stop and avoid going all the way into Marigot (Traffic). It looks like there are a couple of of swimwear shops there but I can't verify how good or affordable they are. (Beachlife here in Orient Bay does not have much selection and is very expensive.)
Luis the swimsuit and pareo guy is MIA this trip.
Would really have preferred to buy from him what we can.
