ok gang - check your JetBlue flights back and forth to the NY Metro area. My January 6, 2021 flight cancelled and they are only flying Saturday's Starting January 9, 2021 and looks like daily flights start back February 11!!! I was able to get a January 5 return on Delta, for now!!!!

Check AA through Miami. Not easy and may require an overnight stay, but our plane to SXM from Miami was full a week ago.

If the Delta flights get cancelled again (originally on Delta 1/6) then I will go the AA route - I think to get same day it’s through CLT not Miami oddly enough. We are lucky to get non stops 3.5 hours. Connections usually 8 hours. But some of these flights are nuts. I could get to Miami and drive to CT quicker!!!!
