I don't really think so. I think we're talking about clubs and bars which are blasting music at 2 AM, when most people are, or WOULD BE asleep, if it weren't for the music blaring away.
I can vouch for that. And I'm talking 15 years ago! Neil and his party boat sailing by blasting music and people drunk and laughing, Lagoonies! We could hear them clear as day across the lagoon. There were tons of new bars opening and blasting. One with a Gorilla stands out. Police did nothing. Cheers i
Roxxy has been a big part of the problem, blaring music from 7 or 8 pm to 1 or 2 in the morning, making it impossible for residents in the Simpson Bay area, particularly the Villas at Simpson Bay, to sit on their balconies and hold a conversation in a normal tone of voice. On Sundays it starts in mid-afternoon. Their response to complaints: too bad, they have a permit.
