Below is a link to a BVI News article - this was apparently a press release sent to the news organization by the company developing the app.

Yes, I would love to be in bed with a good lover when they turn on the video camera. Maybe they will learn something. Or when I skinny dip in my pool!! I really would enjoy this!!

Deal breaker... adding to the cost of multiple tests, purchasing the tracking app or bracelet, one has to roam in order to be tracked at a cost of at least $10 pp per day.

According to the newspaper article, countries such as St. Lucia are using a tracking app, I could not find evidence of that. Grenada does use a tracking app at no cost, however if you are an iphone user, you are exempt from the tracking requirement. I did not look at the requirements Jamacia or Turks and Caicos.

We were hoping to sail to the BVIs and spend a month or so there, but we most likely sail on by.

Haven't seen the details of what is agreed to when agreeing to use the app but in one of the press conferences, one of the Ministers indicated the app would store data until the user connects to wifi. This means data roaming would not be required but you might have to get connected to wifi a couple of times a day. If you have your phone in airplane mode, the gps is still active and can store location data. Many apps most people have already do this.

non movement alert and random check in, also large fines for breaking quarantine not as bad as the USVI charter vessels $20,000 fine.

Today ,I am told, it seems that to go to Virgin Gorda, you cannot use the ferry to quarantine but must use a private vessel. A\I am so discouraged by all of this. Basically I can no longer go to my villa and have been locked out. The cost along is prohibitive to say nothing about loss of rentals.

One of the many drawbacks with 3rd world mentalities.
Don’t worry about it because there’s nothing you can do but wait for it to open up.
Take a vacation temporarily elsewhere and enjoy yourself.
