Just curious, there is a lot of talk about AA and JB , but I haven't heard anything recently about Delta.
I know they were canceling flights like crazy, and I'm almost afraid to book with them. I guess all the airlines were cancelling and it depends on covid.
Has anyone been using them them for future flights?? If so, Any problems??

Delta suspended ALL service to SXM for Sept. and Oct. and are back now with a very limited schedule. It does increase as we get deeper into Nov. We were booked with Delta to leave next week but it is not happening due to their schedule changes, pricing and an overnight on the return. I posted about this a couple of times. Thank-you. I was talking about future dates. I was wondering if anyone was having luck with Delta's schedules for the beginning of next year and spring.
Even if I do book flights, the same thing can happen again--- So, I guess it is all wait and see.
I did see some posts about people booking into the summer--but on AA and JB, so I thought they were avoiding Delta.

We were scheduled for a July trip with Delta but that got cancelled when U.S. flights were halted. They were easy to deal with for rebooking with no fees or hassles. Fingers crossed, we’re arriving on November 14th for a week on Delta out of Atlanta. We’re getting our COVID-19 test on Monday and hopefully get our results in 48 hours. Turnaround times got worse through the state/county test sites here but some of the private sites are getting results quicker than expected at this point.
On another note, we’re hoping for better weather than we had earlier in the year. We were in SXM in January and it was much cooler and wetter than we had ever experienced in the 20 years we’ve been going.

I have a March flight booked on Delta and so far it has just changed by an hour or so. AA to SXM and Delta return.
Most people book based on their location, use of miles, schedule and service and price. There is not a lot of choice or loyalty is many cases. My choices are AA or Delta, it all comes down to price and schedule for me.
Delta cancelled my return this past March and once I got rebooked (at a higher price) and returned home, they were extremely easy to deal with. Same thing with our cancelled Nov. flights, full refund back to my credit card and in a very timely manner.
I would have no problem booking Delta for a trip to SXM. ANY airline can and will change schedules and it is even more prevalent now.

Terry, I've been tracking Delta and JB for the spring and Delta flights have been extremely high for direct from JFK. Anywhere from $1800 - $2200 pp while JetBlue for same dates has been $600-$800 .

I booked my October STT trip with Delta and it was great....love the blocked middle seats (until January 6th anyway). We just booked a return to STT for Dec 12-19 and will use Delta again. Just deciding whether to go through JFK (shorter flights) or ATL. JFK connection looks almost empty so I might not trust that one and will probably go through ATL.
For SXM in January Delta was twice the cost of United and the aircraft were empty....didn't like the empty thing

Thanks everyone for the feedback .
I know none of us have a crystal ball, but am getting anxious to finally return to sxm, and just hoping for the best.

The flight I was looking at just went up $2000?
Should have booked it, but I'm still not sure what is going to happen, with the virus changing daily.

we are booked with Delta for 12/05, Milwaukee to SXM with a short stop in ATL. All seems good so far. Just couldn't stay away either.

Deciding whether to cancel our mid-January United flight (for flight credits) and switch to Delta because of the blocked seats thing. $473 Main /$651 Comfort+ BOS through either JFK or ATL. JFK only a 50 minute layover which could be iffy in the winter....aircraft (JFK-SXM) is almost empty which doesn't give me confidence
Loved having that empty seat....
Hmmmm.....
