Ok, well, Venice Florida!

We literally have not been ANYWHERE this year, so we decided to spend a long weekend at the beach here in Florida, actually about 2 miles from Venice. We haven't done anything so far, other than hang out on the beach, drink some wine and relax.









We had a very good friend who lived outside Paris, Virginia, a very cool place. So, what places have you ALMOST visited in 2020???

I'm jealous Carol. We did get to FL this year but only to Orlando and one day of off shore fishing out of Port Canaveral.

We spent 2 weeks on Hilton head island in June and one week in September at palm beach shores. I have included a number of photos but not SXM. Most were taken in Phil Foster park in Florida.

Florida is beautiful at this time of year. Our first visit to Florida was in October 1978 for our honeymoon. We have visited many times since then, and October is my favorite month to visit.

Yes, it is beautiful here. I have taken several other pictures, just been too lazy to post. We go home tomorrow, but am really thankful to have had this opportunity to relax and BREATHE, which I haven't done for a long time...
