We are headed to Orient Beach in December and hoping someone who is ahead of us can let us know what is the status of any shops on the beach. We were there last December and the restaurants were up and running but only one small beach shop was open. Would rather buy new pareos and swimwear on the island to send the money that way then ordering on-line beforehand, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Not yet, but I got the impression that things are going to really start opening up November 1st.

I imagine by December Luis will be on beach doing custom suits & he has pareos as well. Hope Adam & Eve will be there too. Failing that Endless Summer sells beautiful swim suits & accessories in Simpson bay & front street in Philipsburg ( if both are open). I need some too.

I was hoping Luis would be open. He wasn't there last December so I was afraid Irma was too much for him to reopen.

He has been open since Irma. He was down near club orient end in January. Hopefully he will be back.
