Hello all , Saw on another web site that said all flights on Saturday flying out of Newark has been cancelled . We are flying out of EWR on a Saturday in Nov . so my wife called today . We were told that our flight has not been cancelled , but our time has changed . We were to fly out on the earlier flight . But we are now flying out at the 8:35 AM flight instead . So FOR NOW I am guessing they have combined the early flight with the 8:35 flight . We did not receive an e-mail about the change . So when my wife called she asked them to send us a time change e-mail . Which they did . My problem is with this is ...... We are trying to jump through hoops to get to SXM .... If the Airline industry wants our business. You think they would be doing everything possible to help !!! So for now we are still hanging in there ...... Please pray for us .!!!!!!

Hi Jeff_C - I'm guessing your are flying United......Having booked and departed on many United flights to SXM and always in November from Newark, my experience has been United provides two options on Saturday mornings in November when the flights first become available in December for the next November. Again, in my experience one of the flights seemed to be priced less right after the flights are originally posted, in December. At some point United would combine the flights and that usually happened in the late spring (when we booked last), not sure what happened this year. The notification the flight time has changed, used to be an email, then they moved to notifying you when you checked the website at some point during the year. A big caution would be to check the website alot during the year because when United combines the two flights, your seats can get changed and you may find you are not seated with your group or they are all dispersed. Or they have changed equipment to a different style plane with different seat plan. I've seen many unhappy customers arrive at the gate for the SXM flight and their seats were changed, without their knowledge. Therefore, if you can book in December, watch for the fares on both flights. After the flight is posted, it starts very high in price, then in a few weeks the price drops, then it will go back up. If you catch that bubble you can get a good deal, but its far in advance for some. And check back on your seats during the year to be sure you are all together. Good luck on your trip and have a great time.

Yes it is United . When we called my wife asked them to send us an e-mail notification with our new time and our seats . Which they did . So I did print that out for some back up .
