OK, this one probably is really easy. Going for the name of the town, although extra credit for the actual name of the church.
Not a great image. Sorry.
Better picture of the actual church here. Sorry, the images are 40 year old slides..

OOps - didn't realize that a new picture had been posted. Please ignore the content of this post
Not the biggest town and we used to sit on the wall at "confusion corner" at the head of the main colonial concourse and watch accidents unfold while drinking from hidden bottles of beer. For those who haven't been there, this intersection is where 4 roads meet at 45° angles to each other and with too many signs around to make it clear which road has the right-of-way. I'd moved there from Kobé so it was a bit of a downsizing...
The first picture points down the Duke of Gloucester tourist attraction past "confusion corner" taken from the Wren building, where I had lectures that were not infrequently interrupted by camera toting tourists who didn't realize that the building was part of campus and not Colonial Williamsburg
.

Bavaria in Germany (and I believe that both pictures are inverted from the slides)

Definitely Bavaria--Could be the pictures are inverted. Sorry. I think the Google time has passed. The church is on the front of many tourist brochures.

ndfan--you need to use FULL EDITOR and use the Attachment Manager to upload photos directly OR use the IMAGE tag. Some sites won't allow you to use the image tag and directly display your picture, it depends on the site. You can always just upload it here and that always works.

Not Tybee (reminder, SC). Not Pawleys. Further south and it is an island.

Sorry Ellen, not Sullivan’s. A mansion on this island, when built, was the largest domestic building erected on the SC coast made of tabby.
