Well, assuming the tests are negative. Four of us got the nasal swab at Passport Health in Sarasota, Fl, this morning. We are supposed to have our results tomorrow. The test was super easy, not at all uncomfortable.
Our plan is to drive to Miami Thursday afternoon, spend the night, then fly to St Martin Friday morning. Being among the first to make it back to the Orient area, I'll try to keep you all posted on how it unfolds! We have been trying to take this trip since May. We are super excited for the chance to make it back to our much-loved island!!!

We are not sure how many restaurants will be open when we get there, but I have emailed Emma at Fabulous Feasts, and they are up and running. We LOVE her and her amazing food, so we won't starve!

Let us know how quick you get results - my husband and I will need rapid results for our BVI trip in early December and we are in Bradenton! Did you have to make an appointment?

FF--I think you will not starve, for sure! I think there should be several places open in Orient Village. My understanding is that the road through Grand Case is a disaster area, so not sure I'd worry too much about going there.. Not sure if Anse Marcel Beach Club is open or not, but if it is, I definitely would go there!!!

I assume you realize that you must send the negative results to the SXM government who will then send you an approval, both of which you will have to show in order to check in for your flight.

Yes, make your appointment one week in advance. Passport Health has a location in Bradenton too. We went to Sarasota because the Bradenton location didn't offer tests on Mondays.

Our CVS in California will only let us book ahead 2 days before testing day. We are going to get this hopefully this Saturday as we leave next Wed to arrive Thurs. Iā€™m so nervous about all this and fingers crossed we get this all accomplished. There are 6 in our group. There was a place nearby that would offer a 24hr turnaround for $400 each.

Make your appointment a week before you need to be tested. The test must fall within 5 days of departure.

Please keep us informed. We are due to be tested 10-12 and leave on 10-16. Their is a clinic in our home town in Texas that is telling us they will do the PCR test and have the results in 24 hours. We are staying on the French side so we will be very interested in hearing about your experience.

We were swabbed at 9:45 on Monday morning. Had our test results before 8 pm today (Tuesday). Filled out the form, and uploaded the results to the St Martin website. Had our "Authorization Pre-Approval" from St Martin
within an hour. Wow! No island time here!

We our scheduled for our tests already, the testing day is November 6th. We are feeling good about the whole process of getting to St Maarten which is what allowed us to pull the trigger on going.
