Greetings, I usually lurk alittle further east of this forum
and I'm not a fan of "All- inclusive resorts", but myself and my spouse have been invited to a destination event at this resort in Cancun. "I've never been there, but the brochere looks nice" ( apologies to Sheryl Crow ) <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/band.gif" alt="" />
I'm hoping to get any available feedback from this site regarding the best and the not so best experiance that we may expect... Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Tanx !

I haven't been there, but my niece and her boyfriend were just there last month and loved it. They were just there for a relaxing vacation alone, not for a wedding party or with a group. They said the massages were good and they really enjoyed the half day snorkel trip to the big barrier reef
nearby.

Our personal favorite in the Cancun/Riviera Maya area is Hidden Beach Resort, which we will be returning to next month for the 5th time!

For one thing, that resort is NOT in the Cancun Hotel Zone. It is in Puerto Morelos. That fact might change your expectations of the area.

Check a map!

Overall the Secrets properties are really nice. Haven't stayed at that one, but we have stayed its sister resort down the road several times. Maroma Beach which is great. Never a need to leave the resort. Plenty of daily activities, nice pools, great food and drinks, and friendly staff. From talking with other that have been to SS, they have seemed to really enjoy that resort.
