Just read this in travel and leisure. . Could this be next for SXM to help economy recover ? Also read in sxm paper yesterday the sxm government could run out of money by October. They are desperate for tourism to survive economically.

“Dominican Republic Eliminates Mandatory COVID-19 Tests, Adds Free Insurance As Part of New Tourism Recovery Plan

The new policies will go into effect on Sept. 15.”

If they would just allow the rapid saliva test, it would make a huge difference.

St. Maarten is shooting themselves in the foot by not accepting the conditions that the Dutch want to place on SXM receiving money.

If this were reversed, don't you think that SXM taxpayers would deserve some accountability for where their money was going to help others? Has SXM EVER helped another country? Or are they always asking for the help?
