I thought I would look at our return flights for weekend of June 5th and low and behold I booked a First Class return on AA connecting through MIA without an overnight stay for 25,000 miles. Opted for returning on a Friday instead of Sat as Saturday would have been 55,000 miles. Since our stay is for 4 weeks giving up one day didn't hurt for the miles savings. Then I checked this afternoon and now they are 45.000. I know it will probably change but I'm used to that.

It ran us 60,000 each for First Class to fly into SXM for May arriving on a Saturday and would have been the same for a Friday too. Felt very good to find this yesterday.

I noticed that too! Fingered crossed we'll be able to travel.

Glad you got your trip booked. I still have a wait a bit to book both ways. I can book one way now, but decided there is not a rush, so will wait until the return becomes available. ....Probably... It will feel good to get booked though..

Going through MIA was so much less in miles than CLT. Would have rather returned through CLT but that was 60,000 each on Friday too. Who knows I might get changed there anyway.
