Are you getting off in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh) or finishing up in Singapore.

Highly recommend Singapore If in the neighborhood.

Marina Bay Sands is near the cruise port in Singapore.

The cruise ends in Singapore and we are staying three more days at the Fairmont Singapore.

We actually have some activities at the Marina Bay Sands...we visit the top of the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel – SkyPark Observation Deck. At 57 stories above ground you will have a bird’s eye view of the stunning Marina Bay, Singapore’s world class city-scape, the architectural wonders of Supertree Grove and the bustling shipping lanes that have built Singapore’s rich history and economy.

We will celebrate our 50th anniversary in Singapore.

We get to pick our excursions March 20 and book the flights next month. I have looked through the excursions...it looks like we will certainly get our fill of temples and monasteries....lol

We booked this cruise last February 2020 when we were on the Regent Australian cruise...we were aware of Covid at the time...but certainly had no clue what the next year would unfold. Thank goodness it was booked for 2022. I am sure we all hope travel will return to some normalcy by then. We have already cancelled or postponed so many trips because of covid...and dare I say...we are not getting any younger. We are going to have to make up for lost time!

Yes, it would be hard to measure just how many trips have been cancelled, all around the world, as a result of this thing. I doubt most of us will be able to go twice as often now to make up, but we'll see!

Well I know there is one cruise we will not reschedule so that is one lost. We have rescheduled everything else...for the end of this year or next year. I think we some of the lucky ones...we have not lost any money.

Well...Regent cancelled this cruise last week. The reason given was covid...regardless. This amazing cruise was on celebration of our 50th anniversary. SAD
