When I left on Friday Andrea said they had plenty of RCI banked rooms. The wife of our neighbor booked an extra week. Husband has to go back to school. Private school, may not close. I hope he finds out before he leaves. When I returned my car to Empress, mgr told me many reservations had been cancelled. With cruise ships also cancelling, Covid19 could devistate the SXM economy as bad as Irma without the physical damage.

Since two smaller cruise ships dumped passengers here, I am sure there will be a demand for rooms. We met several people today who were looking for rooms since their cruises were cancelled.
