"Kapeye" is hugely missed for his happy hours at "Myett's" with the IRS.."International Rhythm Section". Everywhere I go folks ask me about him and when he will be back..So quick update...Kapeye has had an ongoing issue with the his right ankle..now his right leg has been amputated below the knee to deal with the infection. He is doing great in rehab and, once the swelling goes down, will be fitted with a prosthetic. He jokes about wanting a wooden leg ala "Long John Silver". ( I told him get a fu$&ing parrot too). The best medicine for him and for many of us would be to bring him back down to CGB..lift his spirits and most certainly lift ours. I encourage all Kapeye fans, anyone who has picked up a tambourine or maraca in the IRS, to send him all their love..and push SOMEONe to bring him back and bring back some joy to CGB happy hours..God knows we all need it..Love to all from Kapeye.

Sorry to hear of his medical problems. I do think the islands are good medicine. Where in the states is he from?

I know how David suffered with his infection problem over the years. It sounds like his resolution is somewhat radical but my thought is that he will recover nicely and have an immensely improved quality of life. He provided us with hundreds of hours of epic entertainment and I would love to see an encore in CGB.

More than happy to escort Kapeye down in the future when he is ready.

Great thoughts for a speedy recovery!
