Have our 4th Moorings BB power charter coming up in June. On our 3 previous trips we only stayed 1 night in VG NS, either at Bitter End, or Saba Rock, or Leverick. (We are snorklers, kayakers, hikers) I feel there is enough to do there for 2 days/nights. What’s the status of moorings at Saba Rock/ Bitter End? Any suggestions for other stuff to do while there for more than 1 night, shoreside or waterside? Thanks

Saba rock an BEYC moorings are not maintained and have no pennants. Oil nut bay is an option and you can use moorings or take a slip and use their Marina Village facility. Use of the main resort beach club requires the purchase of a day pass ($$$$$) but it appears you can go to dinner at the main restaurants if space is available... probably a good bet in June.... I would recommend one day at Leverick and rent a car to go explore Virgin Gorda. The Baths, Copper Mine, Savannah Bay, Hog Heaven, Sugcarcane, CocoMaya, there are a lot of good sights, beaches and restaurants to see. Then the second night move somewhere new and go explore the North Sound by dinghy. You can anchor by Sandbox beach bar, or grab a mooring ball at Biras Creek or at Oil Nut Bay. Then take your dinghy around for snorkeling at Eustatia or Calquhon Reef and the beaches on Prickly Pear!

North Sound is the perfect spot especially if you are into watersports. We spend a few days there as our kids love it, SNUBA is available there which is a cross between snorkeling and scuba diving and our kids loved it as did we ( we are qualified scuba divers) and we will definitely do it again the next trip. WE also enjoyed flyboarding and they also offer jet skis ( not our thing) and have hobie cats too. REnt a car and explore Virgin Gorda, Copper MIne, Baths, great snorkeling and lunch stop at Sugar Cane in Nail Bay, stunning views. YOu can also dinghy over to Pricky Pear Island and up to Nova for lunch at Oil Nut Bay or they will come and collect you for lunch and dinner and have a free shuttle service. Enjoy the North SOund is fabulous
