Had a wonderful couples massage from a Touch of Handz. My wife was suffering from a mild case of vertigo and Brian was able to help her. Being a diabetic I suffer from feet issues and the time spent on my feet was heavenly. I would recommend this massage company as they were very professional. The sounds of the ocean alone practically puts you to sleep. Give them a try.

How is the rest of your trip going? Where are you staying and any restaurant recommendations?

This is very similar to a post the board had a little over a month ago. Interesting.

Great trip. Most days spent on Orient. Food is very good at the Perch. To lazy to walk any further.
As for restaurants did the Greenhouse, Chesterfields, Toppers, Buccaneers Isola and so on. The real surprise was
Avantika for thai food. Was so good. Very disappointed this trip in the Dingy Dock. Ordered a chicken special and was
told they were out of potatoes. Ordered fries. Waiter came back and-said out of green beans. Would carrots be okay.
Ordered carrots. Waiter came back and-said out of carrots. Received fried onions and cabbage as the vegetable.
So very poor. Suppose they did not realize there are super markets on the island. So over rated will not be back again.

Thanks for the update. Some seem to have problems with Dinghy Dock while others enjoy it.

Sounds like the same attitude we had with them.

Yeah, I don't go there for the food, I go there because they let you pour your own drinks. at a very fair price, IMO.

Sorry, i feel like we may have jumped threads there. "Touch of Handz" turned into "Dinghy Dock"

Thanks for the info on "Touch of Hands" I am booking them right now for our trip 3/18 to 4/4.

Mr Tim ...Thanks for getting back on track. Enjoy your massage. You all can see from my number of posts that I am new to the forum. Followed for years just don’t have an opinion on everything as some do. Have been going to SXM for four weeks every year since 1991. So not a newbie to SXM. I find it in such poor taste that Rualcarrier questioned my original post with ( interesting...similar post a month ago.) How is this forum going to attract new users and information if members such as he think they have the right to be little others. Well not me. Remember that your opinion is just that...your opinion and as for any posts that are questionable those with common sense will sort it out without your expert advice. Good luck with attracting new members.

Aggi--Here's the thing, I recognize that you are new here, but if you have been following this forum for a while, you would know that there ARE people out there on the net who PRETEND to be satisfied customers of an organization, just to get free advertising for their business. It happens all the time, across many forums. OR, the business involved promises the person a reduced rate if they promise to tout their services online.. And the pattern of those posts is to post --usually for the FIRST time---and only mention ONE specific thing about a trip to SXM (or somewhere else, wherever). And this happened exactly with those perameters with regard to the last post made regarding Touch of Handz on this forum. So, JD can be forgiven for being somewhat suspect with regard to your post. Surely you agree that someone involved with a business or someone who is getting a kickback to recommend a certain company or business should have their recommendation be looked at for what it is, an ad which is not being paid for?

If you had posted the restaurant info, beach, etc., in the first post, no one would have thought a thing about your post. It just seemed odd when the only thing you would care to mention after a trip to SXM, is a massage. I love me a good massage, and in fact have had Brian do a wonderful massage for me one time at Beachside Villas. But I would not make a post which mentions only that specific thing, regarding a trip to SXM. I do hope that you stick around and let us all know about your trips in the future.

I will add some information on this one. We were Time Share owners at Belair for a long time. There is an "Owners @ Belair" website where the above business regularly posted their services every couple weeks. Some made light of the ongoing pitch but it was just that, a pitch for massage services. I don't dispute that their services are fine but when they became the only posting that regularly showed up, I think it was viewed as "over the top"and ruralcarrier understandingly recognized this and questioned some comments posted by duplicate "satisfied customers".

Thank you as well. Just trying to adhere to the guidelines of TTOL. They (business in question) seem to do as you mentioned on multiple other group pages.

Mr. Tim and others--you might want to also consider Fabienne, who is on Orient most of the time, and who also will come to your hotel and villa. She is a very nice, professional masseuse and actually a paying sponsor here on TTOL. handshake
