Spot on.. Be Kool lunch.. Tropicana dinner..or Vise Versa. Market shopping in between, walk the town. Memorable.

If you're still going to be on island on Saturday, I might wait until Saturday and go to Tropicana for their Grand Marnier soufflé.

No Carol, Gilles the owner use to own Tropicana, might of had a GC connection but not that I am aware of.

Be Cool is family run 2 sons, mother father. Not sure if they had a place in GC but Carol formally of L'Estimenet knows this family. She told us to go there when it first opened.

Went to Tropicana yesterday. The place was half empty, I was even bugging the lady owner if she fired her chief-boyfriend... She said that the whole area is dead, people are afraid to come due to the rumours that it is unsafe. She also blamed the riots in the fall... We had a wonderful dinner there regardless. Planning on going to this place at least a few more times.
The other restaurants were pretty empty too.
Met Bob the chair guy at the Hole in the wall, he basically said the same thing- people are afraid to go to Marigot after dark..

We go to Marigot for lunch and enjoy our time. Our favorite is La Main a la Pate

We enjoyed a nice lunch at La Main a la Pate during our trip in January. It was full with what appeared to be mostly local people on a lunch break, Wanted a lighter meal because we were staying in Grand Case that week and eating dinners at restaurants there.
We didn't venture over to Marigot for a dinner that trip because the marina still seemed pretty empty and weren't sure about security at night. We used to love dinners at the Marina during its hey day when all the restaurants were busy and you could stroll along to check out the menus

We love it there too. You can sit & see planes taking off at airport.
