Does anyone know if the restaurant Croissant Royal in Marigot at Marina Royale is run by the same couple who had the Creperie up on Paradise View. My wife and I loved the crepes they made as well as enjoyed the view from the restaurant. So sad to see that it was destroyed in Irma. Recently saw photos of the crepes from the place in Marigot and are hoping it is the same young couple who are running that restaurant.

No. They were employees of the original owner of Le Croissanterie for over 20 years who now run the place

You just mentioned our 2 former breakfast places. We went to Croissant Royal in Dec. and it was still as good as ever, but really miss Paradise View.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

Over the years I've stated in touch with Lucie and Laurant. They now have a second child, Ness she's a couple of years old at this point. Tia is getting bigger fast! My last conversation was that they are settled back in France with there two girls and will not return to rebuild Paradise View because the owner of the building didn't have the proper insurance.
Sand Gravity, got to love it!

So I wonder what will happen with that restaurant? It was my favorite spot for breakfast

Thanks for all the info. So sorry to see such a great spot not being used. The restaurant seemed to always be busy and the crepes were fantastic.

Sad to say, it looked a mess back in November. IMHO. I think it would have to be scrapped and start from scratch.

I stopped the past two years to visit with Bernadine who had the small rum store and all the cats. She told me that they had gone back to France with their children. Was hoping that just maybe they had returned and were working at a different location. I will have to try Croissant Royal in Marigot when we visit in another month. Hope they are half as good as the crepes at Paradise View. I walked up to the restaurant at Paradise View to take a few photos of what still remains. How sad to see such a beautiful location not being used. Loved the one with jelly in it and a big scoop of ice cream on top.
