All,
We’re setting sail late this month and firming up plans. Question - one of our crew needs to ship out mid-week, and will need to catch a ferry out of Road Town early Thurs am. We’re thinking about catching a ball at either Trellis or Marina Cay the night before to make it easier to drop her off on Tortola the next morning. Any thoughts on this? How are Trellis and Marina Cay coming along? Mooring field OK / decent access? (coming in from Anegada that day - probably early afternoon arrival). Any other recommendations for an overnight stop prior to the early ferry drop?
Thanks as always for your thoughts...
John

We did this last October. Pulled up just outside the entrance to the Moorings base and held position there while another crewmember dinghyed the departing folks into the base. We had one of the new 51 power cats with hydraulic dinghy platform so launch/retrieving dinghy was easy especially with luggage. There are balls there but none had pennant lines

Or mooring balls just out in front of Ferry terminal . Dingy to right of ferry terminal and drop off.
I am not sure if you could pull up to dock there (where "private" boats come in to clear customs)?
