Does anyone know of companies other than TMM & Barefoot, including any bases in Grenada? Is Moorings still there?
Any others?

Thank you!

I think Moorings still has a skeleton crew in Canouan, CaptRick, or Seth at Blue Lagoon would be your best source of up to the minute news.....

Going with Barefoot late June 2014, very pleased with the referrals have gotten on them, their website, and also their correspondence.

Hi BayCruiser,
I just returned from SVG and walked through the base.
There were a couple of Moorings and Sunsail boats but I did not see anyone milling around the offices. They still may offer you an alternative drop for a price.
I went with Barefoot and as usual am very happy will their service.
cheers

It's often tough to compare the charges of charter companies because of differences in the vessels, add-on options, provisioning, special offers, and other details. If you have sufficient experience to bareboat, you may be prepared to go. Or you may want a head person for a day or two until you get utilised to the vessel, a crew and chef if you don’t desire to proceed it solely, or a sailing instructor or full cruising school if you’re just beginning out.

....there is someone other than Barefoot?? <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Wink.gif" alt="" /> We're heading back to SVG for our 8th charter season with Barefoot next year. To access the Grenadines from a charter base in Grenada does not seem to be the best use of the short time available on a charter. In addition, it becomes problematic to get to Bequia (a must for us) if your coming up from Grenada, unless you have a lot of time.
