We are planning another charter in the Grenadines -- been there several times in the past -- but are finding a shrinking list of options. I believe Moorings Grenada closed a while back, and their "outpost" in Canuon is closed. Sunsail evidently just closed its base in the Lagoon in St Vincent, leaving just Barefoot and TMM as options. Both fleets a bit long in the tooth, at least for Cats.
Does anyone know of other options, other that starting in St Lucia and sailing down?

Thank you.

The Moorings are still operating in St. Lucia and Grenada. Only the Canouan location has closed.

You will probably have trouble booking a Sunsail boat out of St. Vincent - the base isn't really closed - but very much downsized... I don't think they are officially offering any starts from that location at this time.

It is a bit of a haul to reach the Grenadines from St. Lucia, but not bad from Grenada. Sunsail / Moorings are alive and well in Grenada. Horizon also operates out of Grenada.

If you would like some help booking something out of Grenada and the Grenadines - check out www.LTDsailing.com. They offer a bareboat brokerage service and can probably help you save some money on the charter.

I am based in Grenada and sail the Grenadines quite often - Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

we might meet you down there, have no summer dates booked. We probably won't book until after our January trip. We are going to either dry dock in St.Martin or Grenada next year.

If you have not experience it a one way down wind is my favorite way to do the Grenadines.
Horizon will deliver a boat up to Blue Lagoon St Vincent or Moorings from St Lucia to Grenada. This way you can check out the Pitons. See some good info : http://www.viyachts.com/windward.php
