Finally was able to heard all the cats together and booked a Bali 4.3 through DYC. We are flying right into Beef Island May 2nd - get in at 1430. Depart early Sunday May 10 0815! So excited to be going back after a three year break. I know it won't be the same as before Irma (will especially miss Saba Rock!) Really looking forward to spending some time on Scrub Island is it will be my first time.

I will be spending a lot of time in front of Soggie Dollar bar to see if I can find that $100 bill I lost back in 2017 duh....and drinking pain killers toast

Really interested to try the Bali 4.3 which is basically a floating hotel.... hope it doesn't sail like one! We got a 2020 version so hopefully they have worked out a lot of the kinks.... swing by for a drink if you see us down there!

So funny to see the itineraries out of Scrub. Sooooo many of the others take off out of Roadtown you're used to seeing people end at Norman or Peter. When I saw yours keep going it threw me till I remembered DYC and Marine Max now going out of Scrub. That seems to have been a brilliant idea for them to bring in some additional pool, bar and dinner business.

Yes! Big plus for both sides I imagine. Really looking forward to starting and ending the trip at Scrub its kind of like adding a extra day to your sail trip! An added bonus, gets us out of the regular counter clockwise route!

Fun stuff!

Land based on Jost May 4-16th. East End at Sandy Ground Estates. Bline and Taboo are our neighborhood bars. Can’t wait to get back down and enjoy our Hideaway. πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈπŸŒ΄πŸ βœ”οΈβœ¨

We may be making a lunch stop at Diamond Cay and checking out B-line and Taboo on the 5th before heading to Little Harbour for the night. Maybe we will see you there. Looks like a fantastic place you are staying!

I'd like to know how you like the Bali 4.3. I'm looking at possibly chartering a 4.1. The solid foredeck has me thinking it would make mooring/anchoring more of a hassle and more slapping than I'd like. I read some other issues that concern me although the price to charter is a little lower than some similar sized boats.
