Hi all- Any thoughts on flight charters from SJU to Beef Island? We usually fly to STT and Water taxi to West end. Will be 7 of us and wondering if that makes it a charter our of SJU a viable options. Interested in carrier recos as well as price insight. Thank you, pk

I always used Air America but it's been quite a few years. At the time they had the best pricing.

I just priced Island Birds
SJU-EIS roundtrip $5950 or their ISLA Grande airport option is $4850
This was for 8 people.

I have also used Air America. They were great to work with and had a wonderful flight. But I can not find their website now?

try https://www.charterflightscaribbean.com - used them several times over the past few years... often less $$ than the competitors

For others considering Island Birds, the cost has a lot to do with the size of the airplane required for your charter. For comparison (although this pricing is 1 year old). We were quoted $1575 Beef Island to SJU and $895 Beef Island to St. Thomas for 3 people flying in one of their 5 passenger airplanes. They offer a discount that seems to hover around 10% for repeat customers ($1400 to SJU and $820 to St. Thomas). It is pricey anyway your look at it but using them can allow you to make connections that you otherwise could not and they make the whole travel process easy by walking you through customs on both sides. They have always been very reliable for us and have provided great service all the way around. I am about to check on pricing for our next trip to paradise!

SJU increased their fees to land/takeoff significantly recently...the cost for IB this May '20 would have been over 1k more than we paid last May
Nadia will recommend you look at using Isla Grande which is close to SJU and going by taxi from SJU to Isla Grande (15-20 minutes) which saved 1k (500k each way) on the 9 seater flight
