Day 13- It was a beach day. Got there before 10 and got good chairs on the front row. Lots of "boat" people. About noon caught sight of this cruise ship just arriving. Besides a BBC, Betty and I shared an order of cheese sticks($8.) and this partially eaten order of bruscetta ($7.) Dinner tonight was at The Palm's with long time, good friends, Wayne and Louise, and their sailing friends from Alaska, Searl and Terry. I, of course, had Lasagna, Searl had Curry Shrimp, Terry had Greg's new Beef Stew, Wayne, Louis, and Betty all had the rib plate. Desserts for Lemon Cheesecake with Blueberry topping. Betty and I shared a semi-naked Carrot cake without the Carmel Drizzle. Carmel apparently is out on the Island. I even wore my green shirt so I matched our table. Betty and I stopped for a little Ultimate Sports Casino play on the way home. Betty down a little, Norm up a little.
Wow Norm! That's really a GREEN shirt. And, your lasagna looks tasty. Hope you stayed away from the cruise ship visitors. I read that one of the ships that was to arrive today was refused docking at other ports due to chance it had the flu aboard. Starting to get pretty scary! Enjoy the rest of your stay.
Hi! Very nice report each day. We have been staying at El Z since before Irma and love it there. The cruise ship visits are not a big deal and the Beach/bar/restaurant are great. We don’t eat every meal there but they have a really good burger and fries. The garlic bread is really good too.
