Six days into our trip and no croissant. It was raining again, but fresh croissants sounded like the perfect cure. A drive down to Le Suciere on Welfare Rd and two wonderful Chocolate Almond Croissants. Couldn't stay and eat them there because all the under roof tables were filled, but they tasted just as wonderful in our room. The rain stopped and Betty was sitting outside when she sees this huge Iguana munching treetop leaves. You have to look real hard. Lunch we decided was Buccaneer Beach Bar. First a Caribe and BBC to wash down a bowl of ribs. The ribs had a lot more meat on them before I took the picture. There were at least six boats in today. Here's one of them leaving. Dinner tonight were Grouper Fingers at SMYC. A short stop at Casino Royale with negative results for both of us. Then a walk down to Hole In The Wall to hear Ronnie Santana and Douce. Just good music. Betty helped with the performance of "Boadwalk".
Just woke up and before my coffee I logged on and what do I see---a delicious croissant!! Love the photos. Didn't see an Iguana. How many more days, Norm?
Yeah, I didn't see an iguana either. Kind of like one of those online puzzles where you have to try to figure out which image is different than the others? I never get those!
According to Norm's signature, he's there until February 11..
