I finally got a good weather window and departed from Norfolk, VA to the Caribbean and hope to be in the BVI in a week. If anyone is interested, I've got a SPOT tracker set up that shows my progress at

This morning the box that shows his coordinates, speed and heading had a note at the bottom that said he was turning south to avoid a storm that was coming toward him from the west. It looks like he turned due south and then a little bit westward to get out of the bad weather. Later in the day he resumed his course going south southeast.

Arndt is here and we enjoyed a great evening at " Omar's Fusion". He is a little battered and bruised but happy to be back in our beloved BVI's..we'll be breakfasting again at "Omar's Fusion" at 10 if anyone is around and wants to join us..Mimosas!!!!!
