We are going to Key West for 5 days, leaving next week. I would like to plan one really nice dinner out.
Suggestions?
Also looking for your favorite dive bar?

I don't have any specific recommendations, but you might want to look at this trip report, and other posts by this person, as they really seem to know Key West. Enjoy! Link

Dive bar...Green Parrot, live music one block from mile zero marker at courthouse. Look for “Champagne Carl” at the Green Parrot or other local venues. Great local Cuban food, though not elegant. El SiboneyDuval St joints are mostly tourist traps. Waterfront area including the Raw Bar are good options. Lots of reviews on line.

I recommend the A&E Lobster House for a nice formal dinner. I had a surf and turf there that was excellent and my wife had a great seafood au gratin. It overlooks the harbor and you can sit outside facing the water if you like.

I know OP has already completed his trip, but for those looking for a great Key West restaurant I recommend Latitudes on Sunset Key. It’s just off of Key West near Mallory Square and you’ll need to take a water taxi to get there. Advance reservations are an absolute must!

Louie's Backyard. Great place. Can be dressy or casual. Leans more toward dressy, linen pants etc.

...Also looking for your favorite dive bar? I second Louie's Backyard, but don't miss Captain Tony’s.
